During the harsh cold winters, what products do you use when medicating chapped lips? Lip balm, chapstick, lipstick, wax, or nothing? Having chapped lips is an uncomfortable feeling and keeping them moist and soft is very important. Your lips should have no cracks and should be smooth and silky. Having a proper lip product will enable you to maintain your full luscious lips even during a snowstorm and to avoid dry winter skin. Lip balm is not just for women, men should be applying lip balm to keep their face and skin healthy. There are many unscented, non-color lip balms for all ages and both genders. I use chapstick on a regular basis to keep my lips moistened and soft. I hate having dry skin and hate having flaky skin on my lips. It looks gross and unpleasant when applying makeup. I prefer having little or no scent on my chapstick and without too much of a gloss. Most importantly it must moisturize my skin and prevent me from having chapped lips.
Chap-Ice Medicated Lip Balm is a specially treated lip formula for those with cracked lips or suffer from cold sores. The gentle medicated treatment is light and easy to use. Simply use your finger to lightly blend the lip balm onto your lips or affected areas. Cold sores should clear up within a few days. Chap-Ice uses menthol and camphor to medicate the lips and leave them smooth and silky. I do not suffer from cold sores but I wanted to try the Chap-Ice Medicated Lip Balm as a daily moisturizer for my lips. The lip balm was light and slightly waxy with no flavor or color. The lip balm easily glided onto my lips and it really kept my lips moistened all day. The formula stuck to my lips and I did not have to reapply for hours until after my meals. It really soothed my lips and there was no dryness. A great tool for my daily routine. Highly recommended for daily use especially during the upcoming dry winter season. No more chapped lips and instead only a smooth finish. A great product that I would recommend to anyone.
