Are you or your spouse a night time grinder? Well I was recently diagnosed as a grinder and did not realize the serious consequences that have stemmed from it. I knew that I grinded my teeth occasionally but when my dentist found ridges on my teeth from the excessive teeth grinding, I knew I had to find a solution. At first I was very uncomfortable wearing night guards and mouth guards but once you find one that you like, you won't be able to sleep without it. I have a small mouth so I needed a mouth guard that would fit comfortably and not bulky. Through trial and error you will find a mouth guard that you will enjoy after a few tries.

The StressGard II Night Guard is a basic mouth guard, one size fits all. If you want to save money and avoid the hassle of customizing your own night guard, try this one. It's ready for use and it sits on your teeth pretty well. However you will notice it when trying to sleep, it is a little bulky. But as mentioned earlier, I have a small mouth so you can tell that I am wearing one. When I bite down, I no longer chomp on my teeth, instead the soft plastic. It is so relieving to know that I will not be ruining my teeth without me even realizing it! I like the plastic mouth guards because they can be customized by shortening the edges. For me, it makes the mouth guard a little bit more comfortable. I've also tried the custom mouth guards in which you boil yourself and it really didn't make much of a difference. It really depends on your comfort level and how well you can sleep while wearing this device. For me personally, this worked fine for the price. Also considering I go through my mouth guards every few months due to losing it or simply from wear and tear. Great simple product by TotalGard that solved my night time grinding issue.
