Colgate Optic White Toothpaste

I want to whiten my teeth quickly and efficiently without the side effects of sensitivity. By efficient, I like using a multi-purpose product that either cleans my teeth or leaves a fresh taste.  I am also looking for a product that I can rely on for immediately whitening results.  Sometimes I have  last minute events that pop up and I want to whiten my teeth within a few days.  I need a product that can keep up with my busy schedule! Masking the taste is also an important feature I look for when choosing a gentle whitening product without the abrasiveness and the unpleasant taste. Colgate came out with a brand new toothpaste, the Colgate Optic White.  I have seen the marketing campaigns recently and I wanted to try this toothpaste out.  The toothpaste includes the same ingredients that are in the popular whitening strips.  Which was a double-edged sword for me.  I have had good results with the whitening strips but also experienced sensitivity from using it.  So I was curious to try this new toothpaste out.  First of all the minty flavor was zesty and really good! The toothpaste was very foamy and left my breath really fresh.  I would have used the toothpaste simply for the invigorating flavor! For the whitening, I did not see immediate results like I have seen with other products.  However after about a week, I finally was able to start seeing some results.  I was hoping for quicker results like the whitening strips but at least after some time, my teeth were slightly lighter than a week before.  Since I enjoyed the sparkling mint flavor, I have no problem continuing the use of this toothpaste. The whitening toothpaste was an overall enjoyable experience, anti-cavity and includes flouride but I has hoping to see more dramatic whitening results in a quicker time frame. I would still rely on whitening strips for results within 3 days. Rating: 4 stars out of 5 This unique formula Colgate toothpaste features the same whitening ingredient as strips, Hydrogen Peroxide. That’s right, get whiter teeth right away with Colgate Optic White toothpaste. Teeth can become discolored from many of the day to day things we eat and drink. Over time staining can become worse and worse to the point where teeth can appear dull and yellowish. Other whitening toothpaste’s whiten teeth by the action of abrasives against tooth enamel. This can be bad for enamel and can cause painful and annoying sensitivity. Colgate Optic White is much gentler than these other abrasive whitening toothpastes. Colgate Optic White toothpaste contains a 1% hydrogen peroxide concentration. Hydrogen Peroxide is the same ingredient used in many whitening products. From teeth whitening trays and strips to the expensive in office whitening procedures your dentist offers. Remove surface stains and see results in just one week using Colgate Optic white, even better results with week after week use.
