There is only so much gum and mints, mouth rinse, toothpaste can do to mask bad breath. All these dental products are short term solutions to bad breath. But then again, we eat at least 3 times a day and food is prone to linger and cause bad breath. I tried Scandinavian Formulas Good Breath gel capsules which neutralize bad breath and is supposed to be effective for up to 6 hours. I took 2 gel capsules after my lunch and decided to wait for the rest of the afternoon. I purposely ate foods with garlic to see if these capsules would work. Unfortunately I was able to still taste the garlic after 4 hours and I would say I had a bad taste in my mouth from my lunch. I was forced to brush my teeth and chew gum throughout the rest of the day.
