I love
lip balm and I am very particular about how smooth and tasty a lip balm is. Once I find one I like, I am hooked. I prefer a smooth silky lip balm that is not too waxy or greasy and it must have SPF in it. Lips are very sensitive and its essential to use SPF at all times. I use SPF everyday on my face so its only necessary to put it on my lips as well. I use lip balm at least 5 times a day so I like to buy in bulk since I go through them so quickly.
In the past I have always liked Dr Collin’s products so I was excited to try
Dr Collins Lip Balm. I tried the cherry flavor and there was a slight cherry hint flavor and the lip balm was a little harder than I liked it to be. The lip balm was not very smooth and felt a little grainy. I suppose it could serve as an exfoliate for my lips since I get dry lips easily and the grains can remove dry dead skin. The lip balm was pretty thick but I enjoyed how it was made from organic palm oil and organic extra virgin olive oil. I use a face cleanser that is derived from extra virgin olive oil because it leaves my face very soft and acne free. So Dr Collins lip balm definitely has the right ingredients for healthy skin. I just wish that it was a little smoother and had more taste to it. I also would like for all the products to have SPF 30 in it. I feel limited in only being able to choose a few flavors that have the SPF that I want.
