Oral-B Crossaction Pro-Health Toothbrush
Let’s talk about toothbrushes, shall we? I personally have been using
electric toothbrushes, namely a
Sonicare, for the last couple of years, only recently switching to an
extra soft toothbrush a few months ago. I’ve noticed that most electric toothbrushes have very VERY hard bristles, and coupled with the fast electronic pulses, I felt I’d try my hand at the complete opposite for a bit. So I got a manual toothbrush that is touted to be one of the softest toothbrushes ever made, and in my limited experience with bristle softness, I’d have to agree.
So now since I feel I have a subjective view on the spectrum of toothbrush soft/hardness, I’d say its time to give a new toothbrush a try and see where it comes out! So I present to you the
Oral-B Crossaction Pro-Health Extra Soft Toothbrush.
To start things off, the
Oral-B handle was very comfortable. The rubber grips were extra rubbery, which I prefer for some reason. The handle itself made it very easy to hold and control while brushing. The bristles on the brush head are laid out in a very interesting manner. The bristles on the edges look like they are taller than the inner bristles, but on closer inspection, you’ll notice that the inner bristles are at a downward angle to allow more thorough cleaning. Now I can’t properly confirm from my own experiences the validity of the bristles claims, but I can say that brushing with it was interesting. However, my biggest concern was that I did not find the bristles to be very soft at all, and that may be because I’ve become biased from my previous toothbrush. But from the first time I brushed, it was a little too stiff for my tastes, though still much softer than any electric toothbrush. Though I’d have to say that all-in-all this is a solid toothbrush with a great grip and very original bristle design. Definitely worth a try!
