CANKER SORES

Approximately 20% of the population suffers from canker sores (kanker sores, canker soar). Canker sores do not appear to be caused by viruses or bacteria. The cause is unknown. Mouth trauma such as following a dental procedure, cheek, tongue or lip biting, even aggressive tooth cleaning can cause canker sores.
